Mrs. Margo Green Gale was on hand to present awards from the Crisfield Woodson Alumni to Tyiona Blue, Harmony Carter, Jibreel Dozier, and Mya Holden.

Receiving the MD House of Delegates scholarship from Delegate Charles Otto is Dillon Mister. Recipients of the MD Senate Scholarship is Tyiona Blue, Mya Holden (not present) and Dillon Mister and was presented by Senator Mary Beth Carozza's representative Pat Schrawder.



The end of the 2024-2025 school year is fast approaching, especially for our seniors! Awards Night was held on Wednesday, May 14 and many of this year's scholarship awardees were announced. Here is the first of numerous scholarships given! Being awarded the Wor Wic Board of Trustees Scholarship was Noelle Bradshaw and announced by Denean Jones-Ward, Director of CEWD Transportation.


Just a reminder that Spring Sports pictures will be taken on Tuesday, May 20 in the gym. The schedule is:

Track & Field - 11:00
Softball - 11:30
Baseball - 12:00
All athletes should bring their uniforms to school to change into for the photos.

The Mental Health poster contest winners were announced yesterday by art teacher, Mr. David Simpson. Several Somerset County Public School students had a fantastic opportunity to experience the many important specialties at Tidal Health on 5/15. Students experienced simulations of assisting patients and discussed some of the great pathways to careers as a Neurosurgeon, Radiology Technician, Physical Therapist, Nurse, and many more specialties. Students seem excited to network with Tidal Health in the future as the hospital is considered a teaching facility with internship and shadowing opportunities






The Senior Banquet was held last evening, Wednesday, May 14 in the cafeteria. Good food and lots of laughs!
