Good evening Woodson Wave Families this is Liz Berry with some updates for the coming week. We hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful and peaceful Thanksgiving with their family and friends. Congratulations to our staff member of the week, Mrs. Lauren Miller in 5th grade. Mrs. Miller goes the extra distance to create a positive relationship with her students. Congratulations to our students of the week, Melody Potter in PreK-3 and Oliver Heavenridge in Kindergarten. Melody is always willing to lend a helping hand to cheer up her classmates. Oliver has been working hard in class and is a great friend to his classmates! Way to go Mrs. Miller, Melody, and Oliver!!!!
On Tuesday, November 28th, we will have a school-wide casual day in support of our troops overseas. Students will need to pay $1 and staff $2 to participate. We have many troops overseas who will not be home this holiday season. Let's show them our Woodson Wave appreciation and support by sending some love and goodies their way!
Thursday, November 30th, will be a free casual day for students and staff as it is the last day of the month. Please adhere to all casual day guidelines for any paid or free dress down day.
Friday, December 1st our 5th grade will be taking a trip to Wicomico High School to see the ballet performance of the Nutcracker. Also on Friday, December 1st, our Pre-K students will have their winter concert at 2:00 pm in the gym. Please make sure that you bring your license or government ID to be checked into our Navigate 360 system. No visitor will be permitted into the building without checking in the front and presenting ID. In order to be seated for the show on time, we ask that you arrive early to ensure you get a seat and don’t miss the performance.
Thank you for taking the time to read this message and have a good evening.
