Good evening Woodson Wave Families, this is Liz Berry with some updates for this very short week.
Monday, December 18th, we will have Parent & Teacher Conferences from 4:05-6:00 pm. The Band & Choir concert will immediately follow beginning at 6:15 pm in the WES Gym. Also, the 18th will be the last day to turn in the RSVP for our STEM night event, which will be on January 25th from 5-7:00pm. You need to turn this in to your child’s teacher in advance, so we can order enough science kits for our students, who will be attending.
A message from Mrs. Jones about the concert- “Monday the 18th is our Woodson Waves Band and Choir concert at 6:15 in Woodson's gymnasium. Doors will open at 5:30. Starting at 5:45, choir students should report to the library to get lined up and the band students should report to the music room to get their instruments ready. If your family is bringing a treat for the reception after the concert, you can drop it off in the music room Monday morning. Students may wear their "Sunday best" or uniform. Please no jeans or sweatpants. We are looking forward to a wonderful performance to close out Woodson's Holiday concert season!”
Next Tuesday, December 19th will be a free casual day for all as it is the last day of the month. Students may wear their pajamas as long as they are school appropriate. Students are not permitted to wear slippers as they are not safe.
