Good evening, Woodson Wave Families, this is Liz Berry with some updates for the week. Congratulations to our Staff Member of the week Ms. Sheena Trader. Ms. Trader is always in a positive mood and willing to lift up others when they are struggling. She loves working with her students and goes out of her way to help.
Congratulations to our Students of the Week, Rosalyn Hill 2nd grade and Jennaiveve Oaks in 5th grade. Rosalyn is a great friend and student. She follows directions, pays attention, and does her best always. Jennaiveve consistently puts forth her best effort in math class and shows resilience. Great job following the Woodson Way ladies!!!!
Tomorrow, Monday, March 11th Ms. Bell’s class will be taking a trip to the Teackle Mansion. The Joe Corbi Fundraiser will be ready for pick up in the afternoon from 3:00-4:15 pm.
5th Grade will be MISA testing on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please make sure students get a restful night sleep and a positive start to their morning. Please encourage them to do their very best on the Science MISA test.
Wednesday, March 13th will be Parent & Teacher Conferences from 4:05 -6:05 pm. Flyers went home already. Please sign up for a time slot with your child’s teacher if you’re interested.
Thursday, March 14th will be Coffee and Curriculum at 2:00 pm in the cafeteria for the Kindergarten session. Please sign up for advance and make sure to bring your license or government ID to run through our Navigate 360 system. This is to ensure safety for students and staff.
Friday, March 15th will be our Spring Pictures with Lifetouch. Students must dress in uniform for Spring pictures because they will be in a class picture as well. Fall pictures are casual dress.
