Good afternoon, Woodson Wave Families, this is Liz Berry with some updates for the coming week. Congratulations to Ms. Janet Wilkins. Ms. Wilkins is extremely helpful and pushes our students to be the best they can be. She offers support to staff members and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Way to go Ms. Wilkins.
Our Students of the Week are Lucille Kinder in PreK3 and Dawson Nelson in 4th Grade. Lucy is a very kind friend to all and always uses her words to be a problem solver. Lucy never gives up and is always willing to do something new and helps others. Dawson is a wonderful student and always willing to help his classmates and his teachers. He helps by making sure the classroom is clean and makes sure everyone is included in activities. We are so proud of you both!!!
This week we will celebrate all of our staff members at Woodson Elementary as they are “one in a melon”. It takes everyone working together on a daily to do what’s best for our students. All of our staff members dedicate themselves and do whatever it takes for our students and each other. We are so extremely grateful for all of our staff and what they do each day to make our school the best place to be and learn!!! Happy Staff Appreciation Week! Please join us in celebrating our staff if you wish, by having your child write a note, draw a picture, or write about a memory with their teacher. These are the sentiments that are often looked back on with joy through the future years.
