Monday may have been the last session for clubs, but the members of the Cooking & Gardening Club prepped and prepared for the upcoming Spaghetti Wars as part of Transition Night & Parent Conferences on Thursday, May 21 from 4:00-6:00 pm. Who will win the competition? Student? Staff? Or Parent?

We held our 3rd Grade GT Awesome Airplane Challenge yesterday and the winners are: 🏆

2nd grade had personnel from Assateague State Park come visit their classrooms to teach them more about the importance, structure and life cycle of trees. The students participated in many fun and interactive lessons!

Today The Veggie Lady, Ms. Main, visited all of the kindergarten classrooms to help them celebrate National Strawberry Month. Students discussed ways they can help out in the kitchen and at mealtime, and then they got to slice some local strawberries and make their own nutritious Strawberries S'mores with vanilla Greek yogurt and graham crackers. Strawberries are on sale this week at Food Lion and are also available at Butler's Farm Market. They make an excellent snack for your child(ren)!

Good Morning Woodson Family!!!!!! Just a reminder we are working on a normal school day schedule for our testing days. Only the middle and high school are dismissing early for testing. Our next early dismissal is Thursday, May 14th.

WES experienced a power outage. Power has since been restored. Students are currently being fed lunch in case the power goes out again. We do not have plans for dismissal at this time. Please stay tuned for updates. We will resume normal operations at this time.
