SECAC invites you to explore the resources available to your child & family and discover the support & services that can benefit you within our community.

Staff and Students of the Week
Social media threats continue circulating in our area and around the Eastern Shore. These threats have been analyzed by law enforcement and our school safety partners and deemed to be non-credible. As always, student and staff safety is our highest priority. Thank you to our students and families for sharing these social media posts with law enforcement and school personnel. Please continue to do so. You can also report threats to the Safe Schools Tip Line at 1-833-MD-B-SAFE.
The Maryland Center for School Safety released information late last night about a nationwide social media threat that has been circulating throughout communities. SCPS wants to make all of our families aware that this threat has been deemed non-credible by local law enforcement, and schools will continue normal operations today. As always, student and staff safety is our highest priority and we appreciate the outreach from our community on this issue.
Students may begin purchasing snacks in the cafeteria starting today . We will have assorted chips for $1.00 and assorted ice cream for .75.

Tomorrow is Casual Day for a Cause to help a Woodson Family in need. Students may dress casual for $1.00 and staff for $2.00. Money will be collected by the student's homeroom teacher. Anyone that does not wish to participate should wear their school uniform to school.

Please note the time and format change of this Special Board Meeting: The Somerset County Board of Education will hold a special board meeting on September 10, 2024 at 5:30 PM. The meeting will begin with a motion to convene in Closed Session from 5:30 - 6:30 PM to discuss confidential matters. The meeting will reconvene for Open Session at 6:30 PM to review and approve personnel appointments, employee unit contracts and revisions to the 2024-2025 academic calendar.

Hello Families! It is that time of year again to update your student's forms. Please update your students Annual Forms in PowerSchool. You can access them through the PowerSchool App.
Here are directions:
1. Choose your student by clicking the initials in the right corner of the screen
2. Click the three lines at the bottom right corner of the scree
3. Choose Forms from the Menu list.
4. Complete all Returning Student forms
5. If you have another student attached to your account, click the initials in the right corner to switch from one student to the next.
