Our Woodson Family raised $435 yesterday during our Casual Day for a Cause to benefit the Lower Shore Autism Community. Thank you families for your contribution to this cause.

Somerset County Public Schools Fine Art Department cordially invites students, families, staff and the greater community to visit the 2024 SCPS Fine Art Festival. Student artwork will be on display at the Board of Education Office from April 29 - May 3, 2024, 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Opening night, April 29, 2024 from 4:30 - 6:30pm, will feature performances by the SIS band and choir in front of the Board of Education building. This event is open to the public. Please stop in and view this year's county-wide exhibition of student artwork!

Due to flooding in Somerset County, our scheduled School Readiness Fair has been postponed to a future date. More information will be sent out soon concerning another future date for this event. If you need assistance registering your child for PK or Kindergarten, please contact your child’s home school.
Due to this morning's hazardous weather and road conditions as well as the scheduled early dismissal, all classes will be conducted remotely as an asynchronous virtual school day. Assigned classwork must be turned in on Monday, April 15 for the student to be counted present in school unless other arrangements are made with the teacher. All after school activities are cancelled.

Guardians of 5th and 6th grade students: The Somerset County Historical Society's Time Traveler's History Camp registration is open and accepting applications. Complete and return the application no later than May 10, 2024.
Congratulations to our 5th grade Woodson Waves for winning the county wide 5th grade GT challenge today! We are so proud of them!! This year's challenge is a new one. They had to build a catapult that could launch a weight the farthest and they designed and built it beautifully! Way to go!
