Due to impending storms, all after school activities are cancelled Tuesday, 1/9 and Wednesday, 1/10. As an additional precaution, schools will open with a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, 1/10/24. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to monitor the situation.

Good Morning Woodson Families! During the holiday break our school community experienced the loss of one of our students. We are all saddened by this loss. Woodson, along with schools across the county, will be having a 'Casual Day for a Cause' and wearing pink in her honor. Students may dress casual on Monday, December 8th for $1.00 and staff $2.00. Attention All Band and Choir Families: Doors will open at 5:30pm. Beginning at 5:45pm, choir students should report to the library to prepare for the concert and band students should report to the music room. If you signed up to bring a treat for the reception following the concert, you can drop it off in the music room Thursday morning or after school. Students should wear their "Sunday Best" or school uniform. Please no jeans or sweatpants. The students have worked so hard and I know they are eager to still get to perform for you all on Thursday night! Thanks so much and I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow night!

Mrs. Carey's club enjoyed Coffee Filter Chromatography for the last night of clubs. Chromatography is the process of separating out a mixture of chemicals. The kids were surprised to find out the color black was made of blue, red, and a bit of green. Some students wanted to explore other colors as well.
