Wednesday, November 8th will be a paid casual day to benefit a Woodson family in need. Students may dress casual if they pay $1.00. Please remember to follow the county dress code for casual wear.

Thursday, November 9th is our Coffee and Curriculum for 4th and 5th grade. Please come join your student to discover what fun concepts they will learn this year. Each family will receive materials to help their student. 4th grade families will meet at 9:00 am and 5th grade families will meet at 10:15 in the cafeteria.

Friday, November 10th will be an early dismissal day for students. Students will be dismissed at 12:30 pm.

On Thursday, November 9th, we will have Coffee & Curriculum for 4th grade at 9:00 am and then 5th grade will be at 10:15 am. Coffee & Curriculum is an event for parents to come out and get some information about upcoming skills and concepts that your children will be learning. Coffee and light snacks will be provided. Educational materials will also be given out. Please make sure you RSVP to your child’s teacher. Please make sure you bring your driver’s license or government ID, so you can be checked into our Navigate 360 system.

We would like to share our holiday concert dates. Please remember if you are attending the Pre-k program you MUST have your government ID (state drivers license, passport, or state issued identification) to be scanned into our security system. If you do not have your identification you will NOT be permitted to attend the program.

Here are just a few of our students who passed Lexia levels this week enjoying their new books from the vending machine. So far this week 24 students have passed levels and earned new books. For the year, we've had 172 students pass levels! That is 172 books given away for students to enjoy at home. Keep reading, Woodson family!
Students in Ms. Holland's 5th grade class completed a stem activity where they had to create a boat out of nothing but aluminum foil and then see which teams boat would hold the most candy-corn! Our first place boat held 475 pieces of candy corn!!
