Woodson Holiday Concert Schedule


Thursday, November 21st is a Casual Day for a Cause to benefit the Music Department. Students may dress casual for $1.00 and staff for $2.00. Please keep the county dress code in mind when choosing your outfit. No jeans with rips or shreds, mid drift tops, or slides. Shoes must have a strap on the back. Families will be contacted for students that are out of compliance.

November Event Calendar


Monday, November 18th through Friday, November 22 is American Education Week. Families may visit any day of the week, but each grade is being highlight on a special day. Please see the flyer for those dates. If a family member is not list in PowerSchool or list on the form sent home to families, they will not be permitted to visit the students. Please bring your photo ID so you can be scanned into our Navigate360 system. We look forward to seeing everyone next week.


Crisfield Families: Don't miss your opportunity to engage with SCPS leadership at Dr. Tasker-Mitchell's Listening & Learning to Lead community forum tonight, 11/14/24 at 6PM, at Woodson Elementary School. This event is open to all community members. We hope to see you tonight!

Superintendent Tasker-Mitchell's “Listening & Learning to Lead” tour will feature eight (8) evening events; one hosted in each of the system’s public schools between September 19 – November 21, 2024 from 6:00 – 7:30 PM. Members of the Somerset community are encouraged to attend any of the public sessions for the opportunity to contribute valuable insight into the system’s strengths and opportunities, and assist with identifying SCPS’ challenges and areas for growth.
