Congratulations to our Woodson Wave on placing 2nd in the County wide 4th grade GT challenge yesterday! We are so proud of her and Mrs. Evans for all of their hard work. She did an exceptional job on her presentation and speaking in front of a large group of people with ease. She also finished her car on her own as her partner moved away. Way to go!!

Somerset County Public School after school activities have been canceled for today, Wednesday, April 3, 2024, due to current weather conditions. This includes after school tutoring and athletics. All students will be coming home on their regular school.

As a reminder, schools are closed Thursday, March 28 through Monday, April 1, 2024 for Spring Break. We hope that our school community has a restful and relaxing holiday! Schools will reopen on Tuesday, April 2.
Due to flooding in low-lying areas of the county, and its occurrence on a scheduled early-dismissal day, schools are now CLOSED today, Wednesday 3/27/24 for students & teachers. 12 month staff should report after a 2 hour delay.
Huge congratulations to Zachariah Welch and Sebastian Munoz Morales for being the 1st place winners at the county GT challenge today! All of our GT students represented Woodson well. Big shoutout to Ms. Cain and Ms. Laird for all their hard work in preparing our students and helping them be successful. It was a pleasure to support them today with Mrs. Millard. Way to go!

Due to the short week and 5th grade field trip, the band and choir schedule will change. Band will not have individual lunch time practice. Instead they will have a whole band practice on Monday, March 25th from 8:55-9:55. Choir will not have practice after school on Tuesday, March 26th. Instead, they will practice Monday, March 25th from 9:55-10:55.
Debido a la semana corta y a la excursión de 5º grado, el horario de la banda y el coro cambiará. La banda no tendrá práctica individual a la hora del almuerzo. En lugar de eso, tendrán una práctica con toda la banda el lunes 25 de marzo de 8:55 a 9:55. El coro no tendrá práctica después de clases el martes 26 de marzo.
