Students in Ms. Holland's 5th grade class completed a stem activity where they had to create a boat out of nothing but aluminum foil and then see which teams boat would hold the most candy-corn! Our first place boat held 475 pieces of candy corn!! Los estudiantes de la clase de quinto grado de la Sra. Last week, 1st grade celebrated the end of their CKLA Unit 2 - The Human Body unit by turning their classrooms into a hospital. Students worked on activities practicing reading and math skills while wearing their gloves, gowns, and id badges. One student even stated, "I can't believe we get to be Doctors today." The students enjoyed every minute of it!
