Due to possible inclement weather this weekend, student devices went home today, Friday, 1/17/25, to prepare for a potential virtual instruction day. The virtual day plan, including the schedule, expectations, FAQs,& guides, is available at: www.somerset.k12.md.us/article/1974064
Just a reminder tomorrow is a half day of school. Students will be dismissed at 12:30. Parent Teacher Conferences will be held from 1:00-3:00. You should have received a form to reserve a conference time with your child's teacher. If you did not receive this form , please contact your child's teacher as soon as possible.

Schools will open after a 2-hour delay for students and instructional staff on Monday, January 13, 2025. All other staff should report on time. Please travel safely, and check our website or social media for updates.
Schools are closed Friday, Jan. 10, 2025 for students & instructional staff. 12-month staff should report at 10am or use liberal leave. We appreciate the state, county, & town employees working to clear the roads. Despite their best efforts, high winds & frigid temperatures continue to make roads unsafe for school bus travel. As always, we will provide updates as needed through all SCPS communication channels.
