Gardening & Cooking Club took out the seeds from pumpkins and will roast them next week. Some of the seeds are in the process of being washed, dried and preserved for a spring planting.

We celebrated Mr. Long all month long for Principal's Appreciation Month. We ended the month with a gift basket and sign made by Ms. Taylor's art students.

A huge thank you to Ms. Taylor and her art students. They made the photo backdrop for our Truck or Treat event. She did such a fantastic job. We are so lucky to have her.

Our Coffee and Curriculum event that was canceled due to flooding has been rescheduled for **Wednesday, November 12th**. Pre-k 3 families will meeting in the cafeteria at 9:30 and 1st grade families will meet at 1:45. Please return the new RSVP if you plan to attend the event.

The city of Crisfield has canceled town-wide trick-or-treating this evening and postponed it for Saturday November 1st, HOWEVER-
🍫 Cullen Parkway Neighborhood WILL remain open for trick-or-treaters for tonight (10/31) ONLY from 4:30 to 7:30 pm. Cullen Parkway WLL NOT be participating on November 1st due to several neighbors having conflicting obligations. Thank you for understanding.
Please exercise caution when navigating through the neighborhood and respect residents' yards. It is highly recommended that you park on the outskirts and walk through the neighborhood instead of driving through.

Woodson Elementary School is CLOSED today, 10/30/25, due to flooding/tide. Students already on buses are being routed to Crisfield High School; guardians will be contacted for pickup. WES staff report to CHS at normal time. Updates to follow.

Unfortunately the field trip scheduled for tomorrow 10/30/2025 for PK4 and Ms. Johnsons class has been cancelled due to the weather. We have already made plans for an exciting adventure for them in the coming weeks for learning opportunities surrounding plants.

To end their unit on Early Asian Civilizations, Mrs. Smith's second grade class made clocks symbolizing "good luck and fortune” and practiced writing Chinese symbols by writing numbers 1-12 around the clock. Way to go, second grade! 🌊💙
