What a fun morning at the BOE! SCPS' Special Education Department Family Support Services, in partnership with Somerset County Infants & Toddlers and the Judy Center Early Learning Hub hosted the Sensory Easter Bunny Event. Students enjoyed arts & crafts, sensory friendly activities and games and some treats to sweeten the deal!
Tomorrow is the end of the third marking period. Please make sure you students have all missing work turned into their teacher.

Monday, April 3rd is the last day for after school clubs. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves. A huge thank you to the staff that ran each club and the students that attended.

Friday, March 31st will be a free casual day for students and staff, because it is the last day of the month. Students may wear jeans, but they cannot have any rips, shreds, or holes in them or holes with patches behind them even if they were purchased that way. No halter tops or tank tops with spaghetti straps will be permitted. No mid-drift tops or low cut tops will be allowed. Shorts or skirts should be no shorter than 2 inches above the knee.

Building Home and School Connections Around Autism
Mrs. Young's 3rd grade classes are studying light and sound in their reading classes. Her class was experimenting with flashlights and various materials to find out which items let light pass through.

Ms. Bell's 4th grade class had a "Figurative Language Thunderstorm" today in class. They explored elements of poetry while dressed in rain gear for the storm!

4th grade GT students traveled to the Somerset County Technical High School for the Somerset County GT Challenge. All the students did an amazing job designing their cars.
